March 13th, 2010 - WORLDPAC Hosts Grand Opening in Puerto Rico
WORLDPAC celebrated their first off shore branch facility in Bayamón, Puerto Rico by hosting an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, March 13, 2010.
The event included a Supplier Expo attended by some of the leading OEM suppliers, including: Bosch, Denso, ATE/Continental, PBR brakes, Gates, Exedy, Conti-tech/Pentosin, Lubro-Moly, K&N, ZF Group – Lemforder, Sachs, Stabilus, Boge, Valeo and Schaeffler Group's INA, FAG and LUK brands.

WORLDPAC’s 1st Supplier & Training EXPO (STX) debuted Friday, October 23rd, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, FL. The three-day event focused on exclusive technical and business training, product knowledge from suppliers and plenty of opportunities for fun!
WORLDPAC’s Supplier & Training EXPO provided WORLDPAC customers with a completely customized weekend of exclusive technical and business training specifically designed to increase the future success of their independent repair business. The event’s full schedule of activities also included a supplier EXPO featuring a tool and equipment show, special guest speakers discussing important industry issues, an oil panel symposium, extensive networking opportunities and an exciting 1920’s themed casino night complete with a live, prize-filled auction!
WORLDPAC’s Supplier & Training EXPO hosted over 500 import specialists from 43 US states and Canada, 50+ leading suppliers including tool and equipment manufacturers, and over 30 of the industry’s most respected training instructors. Also in attendance were WORLDPAC’s top management and sales staff, as well as representatives from aftermarket media sources including ImportCar, Motor Age, and Canadian Technician magazines.
