New Parts and Product Information

Our expansive purchasing and product development team works every day to identify the parts needed on new models (many parts for 2007 models are already cataloged). Their daily work schedule includes identifying the OEM manufacturer for new items, cataloging the parts in speedDIAL, contacting manufacturers and ultimately, placing orders. In the third quarter alone, the team has created over 8000 new numbers which provide coverage for 54,527 vehicle applications.

In addition to new product development and sourcing, the team is constantly refining our existing 100,000 different part numbers, on hand for 26 Import and Domestic lines, to find new sources, address supercessions and product upgrades where applicable. The key to our tagline, the Right Part at the Right Time, is a serious labor of love.

Below are some new items and general information on our existing inventory that you may find helpful. For more information on these items, please contact your WORLDPAC sales representative.

PBR Aluminum Calipers – within the WORLDPAC exclusive PBR line, we offer NEW, no core OEM aluminum calipers where original on GM, Ford and Chrysler. The calipers are loaded with the OEM friction material just as they were installed on assembly line. Interesting facts – 85% of all aluminum calipers used on GM applications are supplied by PBR. Also all Corvettes (ALL) since 1984 have used only PBR for their brakes modules (pad, rotor, caliper assembly).

WORLD SOURCE ONE (WSO) Batteries – WORLDPAC now in stocks WSO batteries for all import and most domestic cars and light trucks. The line is an exact fit solution, which includes hard to find applications like; Mazda Miata, BMW 740iL and AGM batteries used in late Mercedes and many others (Proudly manufactured in the USA).

K & N Performance Filtration – Did you know WORLDPAC has a complete line of K & N filters?

BENTLEY Repair Information - Bentley has released 4 new CD-Rom repair manuals (VA56, VB66, A8P6 & AC66) for VW and Audi.  In July they released the manuals for the New 2006-07 GTI, Rabbit, an updated version that includes the 2006 Audi TT's, and an updated version that includes the 2007 Audi A4's, S4's and RS4.  In August they also released an updated version to include the 2006 Beetle and Beetle Convertible.

Timing Belt Tensioners - Working w/ Aisin (OEM on Toyota/Lexus for years) we acquired 26 sku's of timing belt tensioners (5 Toyota; 2 Subaru; 2 Honda; 5 Mitsubishi; 5 Chrysler; 1 Porsche; 6 Volvo).  Aisin offers fantastic quality and has OEM contracts with Toyota, Porsche, Volvo, and Subaru. 

Fuel Filters - One of the many OE brands we carry for fuel filtration the “FUL” brand. You may not be familiar with this brand, so here is a list of their OE affiliations:

Note – The term OES (Original Equipment Service) is the original part you buy at the new car dealership. The term OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is the original part when installed on the new car assembly line. Please read our article “Understanding the WORLDPAC Product Philosophy”.

Wipers – It’s just about that time. WORLDPAC has a complete inventory of OEM and OE quality wiper blades & inserts, wiper arms and wiper motors from BOSCH (OE on most Euro cars), NWB (OE on most Japanese cars) and other select OEM manufacturers.
